Rights of Parents
It is a duty to know the rights of parents and to fulfill them for the child.
There are 14 rights of parents.
7 during life, 7 after death.
7 during life:
1. Be respectful to parents.
2. Love them with all your heart.
3. Always obey them.
4. Serve them.
5. Fulfill their needs.
6. Always think of reaching their comfort.
7. Visit them regularly.
7 after death:
1. Pray for their forgiveness.
2. Seek reward.
3. Respect their companions and relatives.
4. Help their companions and relatives.
5. Pay off debts and collect deposits.
6. Fulfill their wills according to Sharia.
7. Visit their graves occasionally.
May Allah grant us the ability to fulfill our parents' rights properly.
